SOUTH HAVEN, MI This quaint town’s maritime history is celebrated with free live music all weekend, a crafts fair, pancake breakfasts, Dragon Boat races and numerous Kid‘s activities. During the day on Saturday, the Dragon Boat teams take to the water. Dragon Boat racing on the Black River has been a mainstay of Harborfest since its inception. Harborfest is a "free" event sponsored by local merchants and businesses, which account for 75% to 80% of the festival’s operating budget. The festival site is alcohol free but many local nightclubs in town will have events centered on the festival for those wanting to partake in South Haven Nightlife. Harborfest is a community event oriented towards families . All are welcome. The Mainstage will feature as many as 20 Bands and Performers over a 3 day period. Past Performers include: Koko Taylor, Lonnie Brook, Roomful of Blues, Otis Rush, Kinsey Report, Carl Weathersby, Jimmy Dillon, Chuck Levell, Heartfield, Indigenous, The Countours. Harborfest is proud
to provide a weekend of entertainment for the entire family - free of
charge. There is no cost to attend any of the concerts throughout the
weekend. However we will always accept donations of time, talent, or money.
