During the day on Saturday, the Dragon Boat teams take to the water. Dragon Boat racing on the Black River has been a mainstay of Harborfest since its inception. Harborfest is a "free" event sponsored by local merchants and businesses, which account for 75% to 80% of the festival’s operating budget. The festival site is alcohol free but many local nightclubs in town will have events centered on the festival for those wanting to partake in South Haven Nightlife. Harborfest is a community event oriented towards families . All are welcome. The Mainstage will feature as many as 20 Bands and Performers over a 4 day period.

Harborfest has a flock of pink flamingos looking for yards to roost in. 

This unique fundraiser gives community residents an opportunity to help

support Harborfest. For a $25 donation you can either pick who is the next 

victim or have them roost for a few days in your yard. For more information
